Executive Leadership & Vision

 

The Institute for Road Pricing Professionals (IRPP) is organized as a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC). This structure ensures that while the Institute remains a mission-driven organization dedicated to the public good and the advancement of infrastructure funding, it remains an agile, independent entity capable of rapid innovation.

The Institute is led by its Founder and a core executive team who hold the ultimate responsibility for the organization’s strategic direction and financial health.

The Advisory Council

 

Rather than a traditional governing board, the IRPP is guided by a select Advisory Council. This council is comprised of the same senior industry leaders who serve on the Subject Matter Expert Advisory Group (SMEAG).

These individuals provide the high-level industry "pulse" and technical oversight required to ensure the RPP credential remains the industry standard. Their role is to:

  • Advise on market trends and industry needs.

  • Review the integrity of the Body of Knowledge.

  • Champion the RPP standard within their respective agencies and firms.

By integrating our Advisory Council with our SMEAG, we ensure that the people guiding the Institute are the same experts who understand the deep technical reality of the work.

The RPP Code of Professional Conduct

Earning the RPP designation is a commitment to the highest standards of professional integrity. Every RPP credential holder and candidate must pledge to adhere to the following Code of Ethics:

  1. Integrity & Accountability: Conduct all professional interactions with honesty. As stewards of public funds and public trust, our work must be beyond reproach.

  2. Objectivity: Provide evidence-based, data-driven recommendations, prioritizing technical accuracy over bias.

  3. Professional Competence: Undertake only those assignments for which you are qualified and commit to lifelong learning.

  4. Equity & Public Service: Strive to design and operate systems that are fair, accessible, and contribute to the sustainable future of infrastructure.

  5. Confidentiality & Security: Protect the traveling public’s sensitive data with the highest standards of cybersecurity and privacy.
